What is the difference between full service wedding planning and month long coordination?
You might be wondering what type of help in order to make your wedding a success?
Full wedding Planning: We go through the process step by step getting you the information you need to create an extraordinary event. We start by helping you find a venue and create a vision board to make your dream wedding a reality. We help keep you on track by putting together a budget, vendor procurement and contract negotiation. We get to know your vision, ideas and create a unique event that highlights your personality and love you share for each other. After setting your budget and style, we match you with vendors to join the team. Through your style, we create an event design and guest experience for the entire wedding weekend. We source any items needed to customize any venue — florals, lounge furniture, drapery, lighting, stage, dance floor, custom bars, etc. Think of it this way, if you are planning a construction project and want to hire a general manager to get everything you need to make sure your project gets done right, in time and on budget.
STEP 1: VISUALIZE YOUR WEEKEND
STEP 2: VENDOR AND VENUE SELECTION
STEP 3: WEDDING DESIGN AND DECOR
STEP 4: EXECUTION AND COORDINATION
STEP 5: THE WEDDING WEEKEND
Coordination: Wedding planning is very different from coordination. If you are the DIY bride and need someone to procure the timeline of events and make sure that the day goes off without a hitch, then you will need to hire a wedding coordinator. They will be there to put out all the decorations for your ceremony and reception as well as pack up all your items at the end of the evening. They will make sure that things happen on time and the flow of the event goes smoothly. Coordination services are focused around the month before your event after all vendors have been hired and the decorations, rentals and design have been estiblished. A coordinator makes sure that everyone works together to pull off an extraordination event. Think about it this way, you get all the materials and hire all the workers, the coordinator, makes sure that everyone works together to execute!
Venue Manager: Both a venue manager or catering manager is there to book the venue and take care of food items. They are not there to help with planning your wedding or making sure things go smoothly on the day. Their main role is to maximize revenue through lodging sales and catering. A venue manager answers questions in relation to the venue and usually do not fulfill the planning or coordination roles .
